So who’s writing all this, anyway?
I’m April. I’m a British wife, librarian, quaker.
I’m a birthright Friend, which means little these days, but has left me with a slightly different perspective to that of Friends who were convinced later in life. Equal but different.
I enjoy embroidery (though I cannot sew a straight hem), I love to read, and I love to sing (badly but enthusiastically).
Most of all I like people. I love to hear their stories, I love to empathise with a variety of perspectives and sometimes I’m lucky enough to be useful or interesting to someone on their own path, whether it’s similar to or very different from my own.
(Though I also enjoy my own space. Who doesn’t?)

Hi Purpleduck,
It’s just yankee from adl, writing to say, hey, I was raised Quaker too! I’m lapsed now, but it was nice to wander over to your blog, from Open Letters V2, I think, and see this connection.
Cheers,
Yankee
